This is my first entry after New Year. So ano ang happenings?

1. Delayed pa rin ng 15 days ang first entry ko for the year. hahaha! What is new?2. Umuwi ang boyfriend ko from Japan from Dec 20 to Jan 15, kaya late ang post ko. hahahaha!!! Charot! Unfortunately bumalik pa siya ng Japan and he will stay there until April 30. He won't be here on my birthday so masaklap lang talaga. hahaha! Emo!
3. Additional to from my other blog: titignan ko lang kung ano ba talaga ang mas okay, eto ba or ung kabila? di ko kasi sure kung ano e. Hahahaha!

Yan lang naman ang nangyari so nothing new. I have to make myself busy again. Boom! Actually busy naman ako sa work. Pero di rin. Hahahaha! Labo ko lang no? Will post photos of the two projects we've done sa company sa next post ko. Boom!

I've Switched

Hi guys! I don't know if someone or somebody is really reading or looking at my blog, if yes, thanks for checking it out! If not, too sad for me. Hahahaha!!! If someone is reading please do continue to read my blog tho on another blogging site. My uncle just gave me access to wallpapers on wordpress and I have started to write there. The layout is a bit differen than that of blogger's, and a bit trickier and I am having a hard time of actually making it look nice. HAHAHA!!! Frustrated nako. But please hang on it. I am also hoping that I can write at least once a week. Crossing my fingers still.

So here is the link. http://tinsoha.com/  . ENJOY!

First Week at my new job

Hello everyone! Just got cozy at home after a day trip to Mabini, Anilao, Batangas. My bosses, tama ba? hahaha, already included me in their diving session. They usually call the diving session team building so colleagues can get to know each other in a lighter atmosphere other than that of work, although not all were able to come because they had deadlines to finish. Of course I was excited to come even though I have to sidelines and deadlines to finish also. hahahaha! too tamad to work.

In this post I will show you the place where we had our training and actual dive. Sorry If you find my post a bit rocky. I sometimes jump from one topic to the other I seem to have a problem collecting my thoughts and putting them in a decent blog to broadcast to the world.

I was really excited because this is just one of the things that I really, reallllyyy wanted to try and I was lucky to do it for free because of work. I cannot express my biggest thanks to God for this. Opportunity really comes to those people who wait. hahaha! Lets move on.
So ayan welcome to Aqua Venture Reef Club

The resort is situated on the side of the mountain and slopes towards the sea.

As you enter the resort the reception area will be the one to greet you. You would be aske to sign a waiver that the resort won't be liable for any instance that may occur on the dive.

The view from the reception area. Gandaaaa!!!!

When you look below you will see the swimming pool. The deepest is just 5feet for training purposes.

The picture below is taken from the stairs of the reception that will lead you to another flight of stairs going down.

They have this area, where I think divers can take a seat, relax, inhale and take in the view. I am not sure though if the back portion of this balcony are rooms that could be rented out I think.

After coming down more flights of stairs, we are going closer to the pool and to the sea. Amazing!!!!

Another view of the pool just a lot closer than before.

They have a bar where guests can relax after a morning dive, take a short nap, and go back in the afternoon for a second dive.

On the left side of the flight of stairs you will see the equipments area, training room and a set of stairs leading to the dining area on the second floor and rooms on the third floor.

The view of the main house, shot taken while standing on the pool area.

That will be it for tonight. I will still scalp and steal photos from my boss' camera. And my eyes keeps on shutting down. HAHAHA.

Updates for the month of April

For the month of April, busy naman ako sa workaloo. Hello! Layo kaya ng biyahe ko and kakastart ko lang so I had to show off. Hahaha! Pakitang gilas! I started to learn Archicad.

What is Archicad??

"according to wikipedia"
ArchiCAD is an architectural BIM CAD software for Macintosh and Windows developed by the Hungarian company Graphisoft. ArchiCAD offers specialized solutions for handling all common aspects of aesthetics and engineering during the whole design process of the built environment — buildings, interiors, urban areas, etc.

Development of ArchiCAD started in 1982 for the original Apple Macintosh. ArchiCAD is recognized as the first CAD product on a personal computer able to create both 2D drawings and parametric 3D geometry.[1] In its debut in 1987 ArchiCAD also became the first implementation of BIM under Graphisoft's "Virtual Building" concept.[2] Today more than 100,000 architects are using it in the building design industry.[3]

"according to me"
Archicad is a 3D modelling software developed by Graphisoft. Hahaha! I was introduced to Revit first.

Eto ang evolution ng softwares for me and what I think of each. Wow professional! Hahaha!!!!
First to discover Sketchup

Developer: Google
Started Using: 2008-2009? College years
Pros: Very easy to use for massing and simple design concpetualization
Easily downloadable
3D Objects are readily available
Many tutorials are available online, you can use search engines or youtube to look for tutorials
You can also do 3d renderings using sketchup pero di lang ako masyado familiar, I think you need to download a plugin, Vray ata un.

Cons:
Very hard to use when doing a detailed floor plan (at least for me)

Next in line is Revit
Developer: Autodesk
Started Using: 2011-2012 while I was working for W.V.Coscolluela and Associates
Pros: Di ko alam kung pano ieexplain. Hahaha!!!
Pero bongga siya. Hahaha! Kapag nagdrawing ka ng 2D immediately you will have the 3D of what you did. You can already input the thickness of slabs, walls, curtain walls, etc.
If you want to do a detailed development of your project from Schematic Design to Construction, this would be one of the softwares to use.
Building Information Modelling or BIM ready siya.

Cons:
You need to have lots of money to be able to buy the program. Hahaha! mga 6-digits ata.
You will need someone to teach you first, to get to understand and see how it works. (Ganun kasi nangyari sakin when I started)
Customizing Doors and Windows in Revit is moe of a hassle for me than that of Archicad's.

Project I did with Revit: SM Megamall Carpark Building C (bongga un sa 3D, hahaha!!!)

 Last that I discovered Archicad
Developer: Graphisoft
Started Using: 2013
I was able to finish a 3D model of a 56sq.m. condominium unit within one day, at nakalayout pa un sa A3 paper ha!
Archicad have sketchup's easy user interface thing, madaling magets, madaling matutunan, ung ganun (pero actually magkamukha naman sila ng revit, pero mas madali talaga siya) pero at the same time, it also have revit's powers na from 2D may 3D ka na rin. Kaya niyang sabayan ang revit in terms of Building Information Modelling or BIM. O ha!

Cons:
Kelangan mo rin ng datung dito for the license.
Project I did with Archicad: OUB, pero di lang ako to ha! mga 4 kami! Hahaha! Existing building na to sa Singapore and they wanted to have the existing building in BIM to place in Google earth, un talaga ang pagkakaalam ko ha. please don't judge me. hahaha!!!

wait lang what is BIM ba?
As far as I know BIM eh short for Building Information Modelling. As to my understanding, if you start using a software like Revit or Archicad you can use the 3D model hanggang sa pagtanda ng building mo.

- ipapakita mo sa client mo how the building will look like, the exterior, the interior mga ganun.

Next stage mo na magagamit ang model is thru construction
- So you will now incorporated with the architectural model all the aspects of construction such as structural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and landscape, sa 3D model mo ilalagay ha! You can basically forsee what problems will arise during the construction of the building.

My birthday just passed by as a normal day. I just baked cupcakes for my officemates. hahaha!

MOonday Mayhem ooops continued on Wednesday Freetime

It is a Monday Wednesday today but fortunately, no work! WOHOOO!!!! what i mean is nasa office ako pero walang trabaho. HAHAHA! Talk about masipag. Internet frenzy na'to!!! Last week I was able to watch two movies during working hours. HAHA. Dahil wala na akong magawa, I decided to write na lang dito. Wala akong posts for the months of March to June, bakit nga ba? di naman ako masyadong busy. Wala rin naman ako ginagawa masyado. So ngayong araw I will post pictures and write about the things na nangyari the past 1,2,3,4 months.!!!! Supr delayed updates on what I have been doing for the past few months
MARCH
I started working already sa Ortigas. For the past 3 months, okay naman ako with work and all but now, iba na. NAGSASAWA NAKO! HAHAHA! I am not spoiled or anything, pero parang namamatay lang ung braincells ko because I don't get to at least think that much. Parang masyadong petiks. Another thing is masyadong malayo from my house. Hello! Las PiƱas ako tapos Ortigas! Everyday late ata katapat ko. Good thing I can do flexi-time (tama ba?) Well well, hanap hanap muna ng next job before I can resign. - Good thing I already found one. wohoo!!!!

Another Happening nung March: House Blessing ng Halili Residence!
Wohoo! After roughly five months, my first project is done! Ang saya sa pakiramdam.

The picture on top is the rendered representation of the house that I designed. Sosyal!

This one naman ay collage ng pictures taken while contruction was still going on pero slightly tapos na. (Photo grabbed from ate gianne, haha!)

Wala pala akong picture nung final product. Hahaha! Kung bet nyo magpagawa ng bahay sakin, feel free to contact me. wohoo!!!

March 10, 2013
Another Happening: Sumabit lang ako dito actually, HAHAHA! Tan-Bugayong Nuptial held at Tagaytay Highlands, Tagaytay City, Philippines

Madre De Dios Chapel with the view of the Taal lake and Volcano on its left side.

Ayan na ang Taal Lake at Volcano!

The super pretty three-tiered cake! bonggang-bongga lang!
The cake's details seemed to be stained glass windows of churches. Simple yet so chic.
Congratulations Ian and Christine!!!! May you enjoy married life.

Next post, happenings for the month of April.
